How much time does your team spend on admin?

Do you know how much time your team spends on Admin and what’s the alternative?

Have you ever reviewed your admin-based processes and considered alternative solutions?

Harvard Business Review spent three years studying how workers can become more productive. Their research showed that a staggering 41% of worker’s time was being spent on non-core tasks.

Their advice was clear: ‘Eliminate or delegate unimportant tasks and replace them with value-added ones.’

Admin ‘bloat’ creates a number of problems:

  • Busy people spend precious time on admin when they could be doing client work
  • Focus and momentum are lost when distracted by non-productive tasks
  • It’s demoralizing to do repetitive tasks, leading to frustration and errors
  • Don’t forget that admin work includes time spent searching for information, a big drain on time

The Financial Controller at an environmental planning consultancy implemented Synergist and discovered they were able to get more administrative information, with less administrative input:

“We have so much more information at our fingertips with Synergist. And without it, we would need to double the number of people to administer.”

They also observed what Synergist has meant for the administrative process of raising invoices:

“The implementation of Synergist has proved to be successful in reducing the Project Manager’ invoicing time dramatically."
